Role: Product OwnerLocation: RemoteDuration: 6months They NEED to have the DevOps background or understanding previously working with Dev Ops teams Define the vision for the teams product the Fed will guide them and give them the backgroundWithin that construct, flush out that vision a little moreMust write features and stories using Jira and Rally. Feature is the same thing as an epic.As a PO you need to be able to articulate what the team does.Manage the Product Backlog- lay out the vision and roadmap- will have enough work for the 90 day PI and layout a whole roadmap for the teamBe able to develop the roadmap, the vision and strategy laid out in the features and epicsThen develop the user storiesMonitor and partner with Scrum Master to monitor and evaluate how the team is doing throughout the 2 week sprintsArticulate the vision and what you want to happen and the team does the HOW. The PO is the WHATThis team is the DevOps Pipeline build team. Responsible for building the pipeline and enablement of devops servicesHeavy customer contact with the DevOps teamOwn the long-term vision of the infrastructure, inspire the team to achieve the visionGuide new features and services from inception to production while keeping internal and external customers successfulMaintain the team backlog, prioritizing and defining requirements while keeping a strong focus on security, reliability and scalability of the company services, but also have an eye on the costsUse data to make informed decisions about what the team should work on next and analyze the resultsCollect/give feedback and input from/to a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Strong affinity with technology, especially cloud/DevOps infrastructureExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFamiliar with CI/CD, HA, DR and other infrastructure/development practicesTeam player with a bottom-up ideation processAbility to see the big picture, without losing sight of the detailsAnalytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutionsAble to understand and formulate meaningful metricsExperience working with distributed teamsRequirements:1. DevOps/CICD Understanding to be able to understand the jargon and interpret what the Technical resources and customers are saying and how to go about addressing it. 2. Worked in an Agile Environment, worked with a SCRUM Master and interacted with Kanban / SCRUM Board, Sprints, PIs ceremonies. 3. Worked with the JIRA tool, or similar (ie. Rally) to create, track, complete and report on stories.
