Product Owner

Role is fully remote - can be based in various US locations As the Product Owner you will be responsible for a suite of customer-facing products. Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the execution of the Product Roadmap Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy Ensure work is completed according to business priority Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle  Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product  Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories Set sprint goals, define acceptance criteria, and plan releases Work with other Product Manager/Owners to align on strategy, ensuring seamless products and coordinated deliveries Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product roadmap according to business value or ROI Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Sprint Goals Regular and clear reporting to the business and senior leaders Follow our competitors and the industry  Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends Synthesize and prioritize customer / stakeholder feedback and requests Refine our agile methodology based on results Provide support to the team using a collaborative style and leading by example Remove impediments for the Agile/Scrum team or by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on reflection and problem solving. Communicate internally and externally, improving transparency, and radiating information, facilitating discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution as required. You may be asked to undertake additional duties to those above, either on a temporary or permanent basis, which the Company reasonably believes you can carry out, or for which you will be trained.  Relevant professional, ethical and health and safety standards apply to this role Occasionally you may be required to travel nationally and internationally Qualifications:Creative thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management In-depth knowledge of Agile best practices  Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills An understanding of online retail industry and related technologies is desirable Able to quickly understand a customer’s needs and translate them to a set of clear requirements and well-planned solution deliverables. Able to understand and dive into the details of a problem or solution Excellent attention to detail Post Secondary education
