Career Area:Marketing / Sales / Product SupportJob Description:Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is excited to be developing a new role within a brand-new team: Condition Monitoring. As a Program Development Consultant for Condition Monitoring, you will provide input to Machine Product Groups and New Product Introduction teams for next generation Condition Monitoring Prioritized Service Events and sales lead development activities. The scope of this work is global and will vary depending on quantity of Cat models and directly or indirectly supporting the MDB product group.Job Duties include:

Apply decisions to develop and support Condition Monitoring Prioritizes Sales Events growth for Construction Industries products

Collect and communicate the Voice of Customer (VOC) and development of Critical Customer Requirements (CCR) input to Machine and Components Business Divisions.

Provide Product Group with industry-specific trends based on customers’ operational data and benchmarking.

Support the definition of new Condition Monitoring Prioritizes Sales Events including functional, technical specifications and product data requirements.

Support projected value of each lead for prioritization and business growth estimates.

Validate sales leads by leveraging analytic models, existing data, and feedback from dealers and customers through pilot activities.

Monitor readiness and support New Product Introduction gateway reviews as needed.

Support ongoing value analysis work related to competitive performance, features, maintenance, and repair costs.

Stay up to date on customer market to understand how and why maintenance, repair and rebuild decisions are made.

Stay up to date on Dealer sales and service operations efficiency improvement opportunities with Condition Monitoring insights.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of professional experience

8+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience with construction equipment

Product application experience

Desired Qualifications:

Experience communicating technical machine performance to audience

Knowledge and understanding of Caterpillar products, Product Support strategies, Dealer operations and capabilities, machine performance, onboard technologies, and telematics

Excellent communication skills

Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up like environment
