Many of these customers seek help from AWS Professional Services in their transition to a cloud-based IT operating model.Americas ProServe Operations is looking for a leader with strong consulting and operations experience for our rapidly growing Professional Services business. Based in Seattle, you will partner with leadership across the Americas to scope and deliver growth initiatives end-to-end, requiring collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving schedules from design to release, and most importantly, operationalizing these growth initiatives in the field community. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market and clearly communicate goals/intent, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams. You will drive the change management necessary to “land” these initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess a mix of Consulting, Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Operations background. S/He will have demonstrated experience providing strong business analytics, and delivering on projects of all sizes. S/He must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive projects, build the right analytics, and can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. In this role you will anticipate bottlenecks, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner with the right metrics and KPIs is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Work with leadership, consulting practice managers, and operations managers to drive strategic initiatives for the business· Develop, implement and govern KPIs reporting for the portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all initiatives· Provide oversight and guidance to cross-functional project teams, planning and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders simultaneously to enable the launch of new projects and processes· Support the strategic planning process, the annual, quarterly, and monthly rhythm of business by designing, creating, and providing in-depth business analyticsUp to 25% travelAbout usMentorship & career growthOur team is dedicated to supporting new members. 3+ years in a hi-tech Professional Services Organization in a PMO and/or in consulting operational roles driving strategy and operations

Track record for managing challenging projects with aggressive schedules and scarce resources

Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

In depth reporting experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Ability to build reports and extract data.

Demonstrated experience proactively recognizing a challenge or problem and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProven experience optimizing project accounting/billing systems and processes for a professional services business

Working knowledge of Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools (FinancialForce, OpenAir, etc)

Experience documenting business requirements and producing regular status reports

Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
