- Program Manager responsibilities are focused on owning a specific initiative end-to-end in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization.
- The Program Manager will be responsible for working with the business and technology teams to ensure project remains are tracked, as planned, and will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all status, issues, risks, and other program management constructs of the initiative.
- Works with constituent Project Managers across the SDLC process to monitor cost, schedule, technical performance and deployment of components and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program, full scope, on time, with quality and on budget. Responsible for stakeholder management and executive governance.
- This role seeks someone who is flexible with their hours as they are working with the UK markets and will need to hop on calls based on those working hours (6AM, 6PM for example).
- Accountable for the entire initiative cross-functionally (scope, cost, schedule, risk, quality and governance) including the coordination with Product Management on design, Release Management on development and Deployment Management to deliver the capability to the US and Lead International Operated Markets (IOM) markets (scope includes technology and other components of the initiative)
- Partners with vendor initiative leads as necessary to ensure integration within the overall program.
- Owns the central source of truth and governance to key stakeholder audiences including the design and leadership of steering committees
- Develop a high-level milestone/deliverable plan using goals and objectives of the program, applicable historical information, etc.
- Establish alliances with other departments and functions
- Capture program status and data by ensuring the population of the program management information system in order to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- 5+ years people management experience
- 7+ years demonstrated experience managing large scale programs including managing budgets, resources, vendors, scope to ensure successful delivery
- Proven track record in partnering with various stakeholders in the development and achievement of key initiatives/programs
- Ability to understand the technical details of complex initiatives and to ask associated questions to ensure that all aspects of a plan have been considered
- Ability to create presentations and write business cases for leadership audiences
- Experience with communicating effectively with different levels of internal and external management, leadership while influencing multiple stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of data analysis and trend analysis
- Advanced budgeting/costing knowledge
- Advanced problem-solving tools and methods
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
- Certifications such as PMP and/or Agile preferred
- Clarizen or similar PPM software
- Roadmunk or similar road mapping software
