Project Assistant

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This role involves comprehensive administrative duties including project assistance, vendor communications, and purchase order processing. You will be fully onsite, working from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.Responsibilities: Assist in project management tasks, ensuring smooth and timely execution Perform administrative duties to support the procurement department Communicate effectively with vendors, addressing their queries and concerns Process purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Handle invoice processing, ensuring correct entries and timely payments Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers, clients, and customers Manage the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system effectively Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Adhere to compliance standards set by the company Provide exceptional customer service, resolving queries promptly Manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products Oversee documentation procedures, maintaining accuracy and up-to-date records.
