- 8-10 years of custom application development experience
- 5-7 years in project management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes, possesses strong leadership capabilities to lead and direct project teams, including proven ability to build successful and effective project teams, leading team decision-making processes, and fostering an environment of healthy team discussion and collaboration.
- Ability to learn about the business they are working for, build strong business relationships and the ability to add value by pairing up technology and business processes through the PMO's methodologies (e.g., hybrid waterfall-agile, iterative)
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a dynamic, high-paced, and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with an appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach.
- Prefer demonstrated experience working within a strategic "business" portfolio (meaning across different areas; not just representing one department/LOB).
- Experience creating metrics/KPIs to show the health of the overall program/project
- Prefer experience presenting to senior executives. PMs hold the Executive Steering Committees made up of VPs, AVPs, and Directors.
- Ability to hold project participants accountable for meeting commitments and goals, and influence and lead in a matrix environment.
- Prefer proven experience working within a technology environment with high integrations between SaaS/COTS products, on-premise software, and in-house developed systems.
