This may involve designing and implementing testing processes, creating and executing test cases, and identifying and tracking defects. The senior QA engineer will also be responsible for collaborating with other teams, such as development and support, to ensure that products are developed and delivered in accordance with established quality standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Perform testing and validation of development items contained in BDSecure and other AFCO product releases. This involves taking development items once programming is complete and ensuring that the logic meets business requirements and no defects have been introduced with the change. Test plans will be produced for each ticket and attached to the ticket.

Perform user experience testing to ensure flow is efficient and delights the end user.

Assist with final release regression testing.

Help coordinate business user validation testing.

Participate in the agile team including release planning, daily status meetings, and new feature review meetings.

Assist with gathering and validating business requirements of new system feature enhancements to ensure test plans line up to business requirements.

Perform analysis of employee workflow to find ways to create more efficient processes through changes in both the software and the employee workflow.

Assist with deploying new software builds on various test environments.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proven experience in the software development process with an emphasis in quality assurance testing. 5-10 years of experience minimum.

Detailed knowledge of SQL.

Detailed knowledge of Agile development methodology.

Familiarity with Cloud Technology and Infrastructure

Analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude.

Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly to customers and employees.

Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

Ability to work with limited supervision while performing duties.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects/assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automated testing products such as Selenium.

Experience with premium finance or insurance businesses, banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience.
