Power the Possibilities The CDK Global technology team is looking for collaborative innovators who are passionate about making their mark on emerging enterprise software products. We're building and developing cloud technology for the automotive retail industry that will change the landscape for automotive dealers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the customers they serve.

The position is responsible for partnering with the business and dev teams to build testing solutions and expand test automation coverage. The QA Engineer will implement the creation of tests to identify issues with software before lunch to production. Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs/errors found during the testing phase and documenting then for review. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with business and dev teams to fix/resolve issues.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
  • Review requirements documentation and implement test plans and test cases for automated testing
  • Utilize, expand and create new automated testing frameworks
  • Work with development team members to develop and revise testing strategies and test cases
  • Interact with Project Management teams to ensure proper test coverage and high quality of the projects delivered to production
  • Monitor tests and report/resolve failures
  • Identify quality issues and create test reports
  • Manual testing
  • Develop/code test cases

Qualifications & Job Requirements
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment and a familiarity with SCRUM practices, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to develop and maintain Selenium automation solution using JAVA
  • Experience in functional automation tools - Selenium and related frameworks
  • Experience in API testing using Postman/SoapUI or other tools
  • Experience in programming languages
  • Experience in using Application Lifecycle / Test Management tools - JIRA
  • Experience with frameworks and tools - TestNG, BDD/Cucumber, Maven, JUnit, etc.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools - Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with source control (Bitbucket, Git)
  • Knowledge of AI/ML based testing tools
  • Experience in coordination with different teams across different geographies and time zones.
  • Good understanding of configurations, set-ups and process flows in ERP for Project and Portfolio Management track (PPM Billing, Costing, Project Management) a big plus
