The Quality Technician supports the Quality Manager by ensuring materials meet specifications, troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation to uphold quality standards in an automotive manufacturing environment.location: Carol Stream, Illinoisjob type: Contractsalary: $20.02 - 23.35 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:

Assist the Quality Manager in ensuring materials meet specifications.

Retrieve and validate material certifications from suppliers.

Create and update documents in the PLEX ERP system.

Retrieve, weigh, and photograph samples as needed.

Assist with creating and updating work instructions.

Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality Management.

Troubleshoot metrology and process issues to minimize downtime and improve processes.

Skills:

strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms (English; Spanish preferred).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Knowledge of quality assurance principles.

Education: High school diploma or GED.qualifications:
