My

Manufacturing and Supply Chain client is actively seeking a

Record-to-Report Business

Analyst for their downtown Chicago, IL office.

Primary preference for role is local to Chicago, IL or Beloit, WI, will consider non-local candidates in CST or EST time zones.

Requirements:

Required:

  • Accounting experience and related education
  • Accounting ERP implementation experience
  • Experience in financial reporting project with the use of a consolidated reporting tool (Hyperion, OneStream etc.)
  • Must have worked on at least one large ERP implementation as a team member or lead on the R2R team.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to work through business scenarios and prove out theories for accounting use cases
  • Full project life cycle experience working closely with Project Managers and Business Users

Desirable:

  • CPA background
  • Corporate Accounting background with complex ERP reporting tools across multiple legal entities

Day to Day:

  • Work with Business Leads to define business problems
  • Work with Business Leads and SME's to document business rules, business requirements, process flows, user stories and other project artifacts
  • Work with the PM in the execution of project tasks
  • Identify system gaps
  • Assist QA team with development of test scenarios and expected results
  • Assist with the development and validation of training materials
  • Prepare and help deliver business process and reporting design sessions
  • Complete activities and deliverables per project plan
  • Help track completion of system gaps
  • Recommend solutions to the business in the capacity of a trusted advisor
  • Understand dependencies with ERP and other systems
