OverviewAs the Referral Optimization Analyst, you are a key member of the Clinic Operations team, acting as the primary liaison between ATI’s Central Referral Intake (CRI) Call Center and ATI’s clinics to ensure timely scheduling for new patient referrals. ATI’s most important customer is our patients, and this position plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless experience to prioritize their needs and present scheduling solutions to efficiently and effectively provide the care they seek. In this position,you will work directly with Operations leadership and be responsible for collaborating with Clinic Directors to creatively source options that can meet Operational performance standards balanced with patient and referral source scheduling expectations.What you will bring to be successful:

Required-Assocaite's Degree

Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in science, health or wellness field of study

Required: 1 year experience in a healthcare environment

Preferred: Prior experience with referral management, patient care/clinical support

Technology: must possess basic computer and telephony skills, knowledge of MS Office required.

Experience with medical software preferred

ResponsibilitiesCore Duties

Owns referral conversion performance over assigned geographies, clinics or markets

Evaluates incoming referrals and identifies priority scheduling parameters based on complex referral attributes such as payer type, carrier code, diagnosis, post-op status, medical complexity, etc and subsequently directs the CRI team on referral intake processing prioritization

Facilitates clinic referral scheduling process by assessing clinic schedules, presenting scheduling solutions to the Clinic Director, and coordinating validated scheduling options with the CRI team to effectively convert the referral into a scheduled new evaluation within acceptable scheduling timeframes

Optimizes clinical workflows by ensuring the front end referral scheduling process supports overall clinic and district volume and conversion goals

Expeditiously manages the wait list to fill any cancelled appointment slots by moving up patients who are scheduled out into the future

Communicate effectively with the Sales Team when there are referral conversion gaps, to enable Sales to engage proactively with ATI’s referral sources

Meet expected service level requirements (SLAs) related to front end intake and conversion

QualificationsMinimum Education:

Required-Assocaite's Degree

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work as part of a team across multiple departments, with ability to balance meeting patient needs and expected business outcomes

Problem-solving: able to identify creative solutions to solve complex problems

Reliable: punctual and dependable with attendance to work

Responsive: communicates timely and proactively with all key stakeholders with a sense of urgency – patients, Clinics, CRI and other internal departments

Completes work tasks with accuracy in a timely manner

Technology: must possess basic computer and telephony skills, knowledge of MS Office required.
