This Direct Hire Role as a Remote Analytics and BI Developer provides business analytics services such as business intelligence, market and customer research and analysis, and dashboards and scorecards creation to business units and integrated services group. This role will be a specialized role focused on supporting the senior leadership with insights, management reports, and analysis for decision-making process.Responsibilities:- Understands the decision-making process, workflows, and business and information needs of business unit heads and service manager/owners
- Translates business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information
- Coordinates with knowledge workers to understand their information needs and identifies ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner
- Proactively mines data warehouse to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business units and senior leadership
- Develops frameworks and processes to analyze unstructured information collected through social media platforms i.e., wikis, blogs, instant messaging, etc. and traditional sources such as e-mail and SharePoint
- Interacts with Information Architects to understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged
- Supports user experience specialists and information architects to enhance information visualization through development of dashboards and user interfaces
- Works closely with information managers, architects, and business units for knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training and acts as a go-to-person for end users to interpret and use information
- Bachelor s degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, management information systems, finance, statistics or related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience required
- Experience with consumer-level and industry-level data for the purposes of analysis, reporting, and/or marketing
- Expert in data mining and unstructured information analysis
- Competent in information taxonomy creation, information visualization, information modeling, and data warehousing techniques
- Previous experience utilizing cloud-based technologies (AWS and Azure preferred) elastic compute, cloud data base technologies, storage, server less functions and containers
- Working knowledge of usability design
- Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business domain analysis
- Experience with professional service industry or CPA and advisory firms preferred
- Hands on practical experience utilizing Microsoft PowerBI, Azure Synapse and Azure data and analytic capabilities
- Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, engaging with multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders and be able to translate business questions and analysis into simple briefings for use by various parties
