This Direct Hire role as a Remote SharePoint Developer in Chicago, IL will be responsible for solution creation and support to the organization in collaboration with business users, citizen developers and enterprise technology team. This position is responsible for prototyping, estimating, and building solutions for low or no-code business solutions using M365 technology stack and Power Platform, consisting of SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, MS Forms. This position participates in governance and maintenance of M365 technology stack and Power Platform. This role is fully remote. Responsibilities:- Build, test and deploy low code and no-code M365 business solutions that meet the needs of internal clients and citizen developers.
- Provide assistance toward overall maintenance and projects related to M365 stack and Power Platform.
- Train power users and enable user adoption of M365 services and apps.
- Research new technologies and applications that can improve the quality, performance, or functionality of M365 platform solutions used firm wide.
- Participate with technology teammates to provide guidance and support with SharePoint Online administration.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required. Bachelor s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience with M365 stack-SharePoint Online, Office Online, Power Platform and MS Forms.
- Interest in M365 technologies, Power Platform, Azure cloud, and willingness to continuously grow and develop Power Platform skillset, including Dataverse and Azure SQL.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, JSON, Office Scripts, VBA, HTML, CSS, Power Query or Power Fx.
- Experience with converting business requirements to solution designs and development.
- Experience with Power Platform solution creation using Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint Online and MS Forms.
- Knowledge of design principles and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills, required.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships and have open two-way transparency in communications.
- Ability to learn new skills in a short period of time.
- Effective time management with focus on prioritization, timely completion of projects and commitment to quality and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently with technical competence and as a cohesive member in team projects.
