The Responsible Sourcing Analyst will support the Responsible Sourcing Team focusing on assuring and supporting accuracy in data collection for voluntary and regulatory reporting, including U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, and provide other administrative support as necessary under the direction of the Program Manager, Global Responsible Sourcing, working collaboratively across various ITW divisions.The candidate would possess the following abilities and skills:Strong project management skillsPerceptive listener and communicator in both speech and writingAble to build rapport with internal and external stakeholdersBusiness acumen and leadership skillsDetail-oriented and methodical thinkerAble to assess situations to identify key issues and innovatively generate workable solutionsGoal-driven team playerAccustomed to effectively prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent projects and responsibilitiesAble to succeed in a decentralized culture and can make decisions “without having all the data.”Motivated self-starter with intrinsic curiosity and willingness to learnHigh level of emotional intelligence and ability to build trust and foster relationshipsCollaborative and able to lead through influence over authorityRESPONSIBILITIES & KEY DELIVERABLES (including, but not limited to):Analysis of complex organizational structure in database and assurance of accuracy to meet auditing standardsDevelop and maintain list of impacted business units, product and processesAssist in refining of supplier engagement approach, including development of communications with suppliers, and ongoing product and supplier assessment tools and processesSupport of external requests for informationMaintain timeline under Program Manager’s directionProactively carries out program support as neededDevelop and maintain associated project work and action plans with clear deliverables and timelinesCollaborate with others at varying organizational levels, both inside and outside the company, support customer service and team building efforts; build rapport with internal and external stakeholdersAnalytical and problem-solving skills with deep expertise in data analysis and management Adapt to new concepts and technologies with little or no formal trainingManagement of software and strategic relationships with software provider(s)Report out and present on project status on an as-needed basis, moving from data and information to insight and valueEffectively communicate ideas and concepts to drive and influence organizational change
