You love networking and especially the thrill of exceeding goals.Reporting to the Director, Group Sales, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving both new and repeat business at the hotel.Responsible for bookings with 8 - 75 rooms on peakConfirm and review function details with clients prior to arrivalMeet clients prior to departure to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and solicit any future businessMeet quarterly and annual sales revenue goalsThrive within established booking parameters to negotiate new businessMaintain growth of existing accountsPartner with all hotel departments assuring a flawless customer program, specifically Event Services, Banquets, Culinary, and Front OfficeObtain rooming list details and request deposits where applicable Establish parameters and negotiate prices, confirming by written contracts. Ensure all details of the contract are delivered and guests depart satisfiedMaintain positive relationships with all guests, vendors, colleagues and global sales networkSolicit group and banquet business through action plan executionParticipate in customer and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizationsMaintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate PMS applicationsPrepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as requiredBalance operational, administrative and colleague needsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesAny other tasks that may be assigned
