Position Summary:
The Sales Support Intern will assist the Decking Sales team with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. This internship is designed to provide exposure to sales operations, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration within a wholesale business environment.
 Key Responsibilities:Support the team by responding to basic customer inquiries related to order status, product details, and claims/returns under supervision.Collaborate with Sales to help identify and document customer-related issues and assist in implementing resolutions.Provide assistance in gathering and organizing product specifications, catalog data, and performance information for internal use.Act as a support liaison between Sales and other departments such as Category Management, Distribution, Pricing, and Sales Administration.Help communicate updates and concerns from internal teams to the Sales group.Assist in creating and formatting documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Help maintain and update CRM records (HubSpot) with guidance.Generate simple sales reports and summaries as requested.Participate in the preparation of annual district sales plans for up to 3 districts.Attend sales training sessions to gain foundational knowledge of sales processes and tools.
