Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sales Training Manager in Chicago, Illinois. The primary role revolves around the sales industry, where you will be responsible for conducting sales training and monitoring sales practices within the team. Key responsibilities: Design and execute sales training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales training programs and update them as necessary. Collaborate with sales team to identify their training needs and develop training materials accordingly. Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and productivity. Manage the sales training budget effectively and efficiently. Ensure all sales training activities comply with industry regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sales industry trends and practices. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new sales staff members. Monitor sales staff performance and provide feedback for improvement. Coordinate with the management team to align sales training activities with business objectives. Requirements Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Display a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Demonstrate a proven track record in sales training or sales management Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Possess strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment Exhibit a creative mindset with the ability to solve tough problems Display proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications Show a proven ability to manage and lead a team Have a customer-focused approach with a commitment to excellent service Demonstrate a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Exhibit strong business sense and industry expertise Display a commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences Demonstrate a deep understanding of training processes and techniques for sales personnel Display the ability to design and implement effective training and development.
