job summary:
!00% RemoteBackgroundSalesforce recently sunset the Process Builder feature that has been an integral part of automating our processes. The reason for the sunset is that they rolled out a more powerful 'Flow Builder' tool that takes on what Process Builder previously performed. In the past 6 months we have started to receive many errors when a user tries to make an update to an object or record in our instance. The errors in 95% of the occurrences are a result of an APEX CPU Time Limit or SOQL limit. As a result of these errors, it is important that we transition and consolidate as many of these processes as much as we can into as few of instances/flows.ObjectivesThe goal of the Consultant is to conduct research amongst the current active process builders to see if multiple processes can be minimized to a single flow so we can reduce the number of errors we receive when the system is processing all the process builders. Time permitted would like to explore other process inefficiencies with our work processes for our teams.ScopeThe consultant will evaluate the current and potential processes to be combined and improved and any new flows that would need to be created to resolve our recurring 'time-out' errors. If flow process gets completed early, the evaluation of existing work processes that have redundant or inefficient updates could be made.Inefficiencies/Process Improvements- Email tracking info for automatic documentation of email replies
- Automatic case creation from eProducts web form
- eProducts/SkyPrep users data sync with Contacts
- Account names, acquisitions, mergers, etc. needed to be prompted by users rather than periodically refreshed by Definitive Healthcare
- HCO ID out of sync with Quality Check
- Leverage Lead info to create Contacts if they become product users before converted to Opportunity by Sales team
- Scheduling/Utilization process flow. Many fields can either be deprecated or updated so that it pulls/maps data from another field, which will then reduce the number of fields needed to be filled out and completed.
- Improved/new flows to replace the current process builders that are creating errors with 'time outs'.
- Exploration of current inefficient work processes that could be improved upon and a written solution to resolve it and possible work if time allowed.
- The ideal candidate would be someone that has a knack for creating and improving processes in an efficient and streamlined manor. They would take a look with fresh eyes and advise how current processes, redundancies, and streamlining that can take place to shorten the process flow. If you are a person that is both analytical and takes a structured approach at solving an issue, this is the role for you.
