Description We are inviting applications for the position of SAP Integration Specialist. The role involves working in the food and food processing industry with a focus on SAP and ABAP programming. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Design and implement SAP PI/PO interfaces for financial reporting and analytics. Develop and maintain a two-way integration for eCommerce, ensuring real-time data synchronization between SAP and external systems. Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Write and maintain ABAP code to support custom requirements for integrations. Optimize existing ABAP programs to enhance performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and debug issues in ABAP programs and SAP PI/PO interfaces. Configure SAP PI/PO to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. Monitor and maintain the integration landscape, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Perform regular system health checks and provide proactive solutions to potential issues. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate the functionality of interfaces. Document technical designs, configuration settings, and operational procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff as neededRequirements Demonstrable experience in SAP Integration and Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Proficient in SAP PI (Process Integration) Proven track record of successful SAP integration projects Strong understanding of the Food & Food Processing industry Ability to develop, test, debug, and maintain SAP integration solutions Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot integration issues Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications Experience in creating and managing SAP integration landscapes Knowledge of best practices in SAP integration and ability to implement them effectively Willingness to keep up to date with the latest SAP technologies and updates Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
