SAP Manufacturing Functional Analyst with strong PP and MM experience for a great company in the Libertyville, IL area. Must be onsite 2 days per week. This role is a 6-month contract to hire or full-time hire position. The salary is $115-145K + 15% bonus and excellent benefits. We are seeking an SAP Manufacturing Senior Business Analyst to join our S/4 Manufacturing Product support team. S/4 is not required so this is a great chance to get this experience!Open to direct hire or contract to hire.
  • Understand business processes in Manufacturing, Supply chain and warehouse related areas.
  • Support, architect, design and help with requirements in MM and PP module within SAP S/4 and SAP ECC systems integration.
  • Lead the design and implementation of an SAP PP/MM project deliverables including blue prints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support.
  • Gather and document functional/business requirements from users & sponsors.
  • Author & communicate business process designs, business systems designs and system test plans.
  • Schedule & perform design walk-throughs with development teams and end users.
  • Support the development of team members during detailed design & coding phase.
  • Rollout (Data migration and cutover) & Production support.
  • Handling the interfaces between ECC and S4 HANA SAP systems, any 3rd party system integrations, root cause and fix errors.
  • Knowledge of handling Output types, IDOCs, batch jobs.
  • Triaging issues and defects and track and report on resolution and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitoring and respond to service desk tickets and maintain ticket statuses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or commiserate experience.

  • Excellent business knowledge around manufacturing processes.

  • At least 5 years total SAP systems experience implementing SAP ECC manufacturing solutions (S/4 is not required but this will be on an S/4 project.

  • Minimum 5 years of functional PP/MM experience.

  • Knowledge of all 3 PP manufacturing processes (Discrete, Process and Repetitive).
  • Strong functional and business knowledge in different SAP MM & PP modules.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of agile delivery techniques and tools.
  • Ability to organize & balance multiple projects/priorities.
  • Must be self-motivated with capability to work independently.
  • Availability for 10-15% overnight domestic travel.
  • Must be willing to be onsite 2 days per week
