Position : SAP Program ManagerLocation: Chicago, IL JDAt a high level, the ask is :- Base Location : Chicago.
- Mode of operation : hybrid mode, possibly 2-3 days in the office (downtown Chicago)
- Ability to handle multiple projects in SAP and related ( Concur, Ariba, Infra, Security and the like).
- Multi location, global teams etc.
JD for Program Manager/Director :The candidate is expected to lead SAP delivery including SAP projects/application maintenance and upkeep of all SAP Landscapes and other applications integrated with SAP for a leading Manufacturing company -Multi geography and multi-vendor management experience in Leading a team of application support consultants covering implementation and application maintenance.Knowledge of SAP applications/components/ delivery methodology to cover Implementation and supportKnowledge of Agile, Dev-ops, ITIL principles and able to develop processes leading to KPIs/metric driven and outcome-based delivery models.Enforce consistency and high-quality deliverables and project documentation.Work with various IT and business teams owning and delivering Project Management activities ensuring that they conform to agreed time cost and quality and revenue and escalate any major issues to appropriate Stakeholders if not going in right direction.Develop outline project approaches detailed project plans cost budgets and timelines that support the Delivery teams in developing to requirement and assist them in meeting relevant stakeholder needsEnsure that an assigned project is appropriately constructed with well-defined deliverables and work streams and that these are delivered in the timeframe and to the cost budget as agreed with stakeholdersIdentify assess and escalate risks to the success of the project raising awareness of risks in a timely manner to ensure cost effective and prompt resolution of issues in strict adherence to agreed Risk Management methodsEnsure all stakeholders are engaged and remain committed and motivated to assigned projects and have complete and continuing awareness of the project plan key milestones progress to dateProviding regular and accurate reports on progress issues and plans to relevant stakeholders and escalating any issues to senior management as per agreed Escalation ProceduresEnsure effective stakeholder management by actively representing the project team to relevant stakeholders ensuring that relationships are built and maintained inside the organization Ensure effective and agreed project governance processes are implemented Monitor costs timescales resources usedPerformance of team members and not hesitate to action where there are deviation from agreed levels and tolerances and ensure adherence to company policies
