Seamstress - Apply today and start tomorrow

Clear Staff is looking for experienced Seamstresses for a client in Wheeling.

Payrate:$19

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Skills:

Previous sewing machine experience is desired.

Familiar with the following machines:

Juki Serger

Juki Straight Single Needle

Juki Double Needle

Juki Overlock/Cover stich

Works with a sense of Urgency and can switch between tasks quickly when asked

Strong sense of responsibility and accountability

Reliable attendance and reliable transportation

Attention to detail

Must be able to sit or stand for long hours throughout shift depending on the given task

Must be able to understand and follow process specifications and use them to complete assigned tasks

Great communication skills (Must be fluent in English)

Must be able to lift 10lbs

Works well in a team

Responsibilities:

Complete given orders efficiently and cleanly during daily shifts

Follow specified company policies and processes as directed

Meet or exceed given quotas for the day

General machine operating knowledge

Re-threading machine, replacing needles, and winding bobbins.

Perform general machine maintenance such as cleaning and small repairs. Communicate with management or team members where there is a question or concern.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
