- Project Description:Our client is the second-largest writer of commercial general liability insurance and the fourth-largest commercial property-casualty insurance company, serving the global corporate, large corporate, middle market, specialties and programs sectors in North America region. We provide Consulting, Cloud services, Desktop support, Application Modernization, Development and Maintenance services for the customer The customer is working with us collaboratively for migrating the Underwriting applications from legacy to new modernized platform for Quoting, Binding and Issuing the policies. This entire program is driven by Agile methodology and products / LOBs are being implemented incrementally for next 5 years. Guidewire product is used primarily for the new platform. Customization and re-engineering of the interface applications is also part of the program scope. We in collaboration with customer are investing for the long term to build the new Underwriting platform that will fuel the revenue growth.
- Responsibilities:Identify and/or review high level business requirements coming from Product Managers and detail them in the form of user stories;Act as a Product OwnerSupport decision making with data analysisManage product backlog (building, prioritization);Participate in peer review sessions (requirements specifications, system design)Participate in release and iteration planning;Work together with development team(s) in a role of proxy product owner;Assist the team with understanding of requirements in particular during estimation meetings; ensure that specifications are unambiguous;Review acceptance test specifications and occasionally perform acceptance testing of the developed functionalityEvaluate information systems functionality to identify gaps;Assist senior managers in identifying problems or opportunities that might be addressed to the software system;
