Sr. Business Systems Analyst (EHR)

Type: 6+ Month Contract

Location: Chicago, IL; Hybrid 2 days a week onsite

Project: Will support the electronic health record (EHR) system used by medical staff. The BSA/PM will lead the post-implementation effort to transition the EHR system to steady state. This role must understand the technical nature of the system and interfaces, play a very hands on role, and see the bigger picture to understand how pieces are connected. This role will be responsible for working with clinical and administrative leadership to resolve issues with system, interfaces, and processes.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot hardware and other system issues and work with our client and their vendors
Liaise with developers to manage interfaces (e.g. PeopleSoft, HL& transfers) needed for different business groups
Provide functional analysis and design to aid in the resolution of systems issues
Develop and oversee processes related to user setup, administration and security
Develop instructional materials to support client use of application

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree 5+ years experience with computer system capabilities, business processes and workflows
Prior work on Enterprise applications and understanding of database driven applications
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Expertise using the Point-n-Click EHR system
Ability to maintain good customer relations with clients and outside vendors
Keen attention to detail
