Opportunity at a GlanceThis position will be responsible for ensuring IT infrastructure and operations delivered through AWS and GCP are designed and operated in a highly effective, efficient and secure fashion. This includes project delivery, responding to incidents and problems, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting, and planning for growth.
 This role requires a mix of broad business and technical acumen with strong project delivery skills, the ability to inspire and influence decisions around security risk management, and a polished ability to communicate with key internal stakeholders. This role is full time remote position operating in the Central Time zone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy dynamically scalable, highly reliable and fault-tolerant applications on AWS and GCP
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Select appropriate GCP services to design an application based on the business requirements
- Propose optimizations to automate and improve infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Prepare appropriate documentation such as program code, and technical documents
- Assist the project manager/technical lead in preparing estimates and justification for assigned tasks
- Coordinate with business analysts/QA team to troubleshoot and debug issues, initiate testing, and ensure testing is completed successfully
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships and provide excellent customer service.
-Resolve customer issues with effective problem-solving skills.
-Provide support and communicates appropriately across multiple levels within the organization, including executive leadership.
-Provide technical guidance to the team and MSP.
-Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans and status updates.
-Train and mentor members of the team and other Adtalem technical resources as necessary.
-Completes other duties as assigned.
