Job Summary
  • This position is responsible for completing day-to-day management and operations of assigned security solutions and platforms to help detect security vulnerabilities and events which pose risk to the enterprise.
  • Performing platform lifecycle management activities (patching, upgrades, policy configuration, etc) for assigned platforms and/or tools.
  • Continuously assessing existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
  • This role is also responsible for recommending and executing proactive security tool configuration updates to strengthen the organization overall security posture and streamline existing processes, based on the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Job Purpose:
  • This position is responsible for completing day-to-day management and operations of assigned security solutions and platforms to help detect security vulnerabilities and events which pose risk to the enterprise; performing platform lifecycle management activities (patching, upgrades, policy configuration, etc) for assigned platforms and/or tools; continuously assessing existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
  • This role is also responsible for recommending and executing proactive security tool configuration updates to strengthen the organizations overall security posture and streamline existing processes, based on the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and 5 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments OR 9 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments.
  • Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms OR 9 years of relevant military experience.
  • Support security project objectives and requirements using Radiant Logic Virtual Directory Services (VDS)
  • Support daily operations of multiple VDS clusters that support LDAP operations and SSO
  • Create and design Radiant Logic VDS views as needed
  • Provide assistance integrating IAM systems using LDAP and VDS
  • Design, build, and execute solutions using Centrify AD bridging UNIX authentication project
  • Troubleshoot Centrify issues, and adjust implementation accordingly
  • Participates in Centrify integration design sessions to provide input based on operational view
  • General Linux administration work to support team’s platform services
  • Research new product versions and implement new or patching solutions
  • Assist customers in identifying potential solutions or modifying existing solutions to improve security
  • Support daily operations of e-Directory LDAP platform
  • Write shell scripts as needed for service operations and installation
  • Train/mentor team members in LDAP, VDS, Active Directory
  • Write operational documentations for LDAP, VDS, Centrify and other projects as needed
  • Coordinate and lead work efforts with team members and cross functional teams
  • Troubleshoot general OS, VDS, LDAP as well as PKI related issues
  • Coordinate services monitoring efforts with other teams
  • Report project status to management
  • Provide road mapping efforts for operational products as needed
  • Have a working knowledge of FrogeRock open DJ

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
