Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation and configuration management tooling.Configure and launch infrastructure and software systems in multiple environments, both on-prem and in the cloud.Monitor software services and ensure they operate at optimal performance.Identify and resolve failures in software services.Perform software updates and configuration changes.Develop and execute system maintenance procedures.Maintain clear documentation of operational processes and automation code.Support software development and CI/CD processes.Perform application administration for engineering tools like build systems and source control repositories.Participate in Agile project planning activities with the team to define, estimate and plan tasks and then taking ownership to deliver on assigned tasksIdentifies and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.Communicates with end users and internal customers to help debugging, testing of software for completeness.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.8+ years of experience in use of automation, configuration management, source control, CI/CD, and deployment technologies.Experience in Software Development and deployment using Java/J2EE, .NET C#Ability to apply design theory and methodology.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is preferred.Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.1+ year of Cloud production experience (preferably Azure) or Azure Cloud certifications in related areas. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases Preferred Qualifications: Experience with service-oriented architectures and microservicesExperience with Message brokers such as Kafka, Azure Service BusExperience with Streaming services such as Azure Event Hubs, Apache FlinkExperience with Docker and Kubernetes containersHands-on experience with developing in Azure Cloud Platform and technologies such as:-Azure DevOps CI/CD-Azure Key Vault-Azure IOT, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Durable FunctionsAt least one additional scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, Perl, R.Experience with Git for software configuration managementExperience with Testing Tools such as Jasmine, Cypress, NUnit, xUnitExperience with Monitoring platforms such as Grafana Employer will not sponsor applicants for any employment visas, at hiring or in the future, including but not limited to H-1B visas.
