SR.E-COMMERCE / TECHNICAL MARKETING SPECIALISTSYCAMORE, ILDIRECT HIREThe person in this role will be responsible for managing and optimizing multiple company-owned e-commerce sites. You will be a key part of our marketing team and will interface with multiple internal teams (sales, customer service, marketing, and engineering) as well external agencies to identify and execute growth and improvement initiatives.You will have the freedom to be creative and to make a difference while having a strong support network.REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing an e-commerce website on Magento or a similar e-commerce platform.
  • Proven leadership at driving marketing/business KPIs for a consumer website.
  • Hands-on experience with Google tools including Analytics, AdWords, Merchant, Tag Manager
  • Experience driving social marketing campaigns and best practices utilizing each platform including Facebook / Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Knowledge of site / predictive search products and merchandising strategies.
  • Experience managing, manipulating, and updating product data within an e-commerce platform via import/export tools.
  • Familiarity and experience with e-mail marketing platforms such as MailChimp (or similar).
  • Expert abilities with MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint) and/or Google (Docs / Sheets / Slides). Data management is king in this role.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills being bilingual would be a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Run the day-to-day operations of the online store on Magento, including maintenance of our product catalog and data, various landing pages, marketing content, site/category navigation, and more.
  • Leverage e-commerce and digital marketing principles, analytics, and general business expertise to identify and execute on opportunities to improve conversion, product page views, and cross / up-sell, driving incremental engagement and sales.
  • Own and manage website KPIs including website Sales, Traffic, Conversion, AOV, ROAS, Acquisition, Bounce Rate, etc.
  • Work with our third-party design/development agency to troubleshoot any site issues, give guidance on requirements for new site features or projects, and participate in quality assurance review and testing of features prior to release.
  • Work closely with our third-party Digital Marketing agency to communicate ongoing initiatives, promotions, and new releases, optimize landing pages, provide paid search feedback, and create site content for paid media campaigns and SEO.
  • Work closely with our Social / Marketing team to plan and improve product content and brand or product storytelling. Measure the campaign effectiveness for actionable future initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing to plan, organize, build and capture segmented audiences that can be reached via email, SMS, and social campaigns.
  • Staying current on emerging e-commerce technologies with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects.
