Job Title: Senior Embedded Software EngineerLocation: Moline, ILDuration: 12 months contractJob Description:· Plans, coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of broad scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. Operates in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and design solutions. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to other engineers and support personnel. Provides technical consultation and a knowledge base. Recognized as an expert across a product line.Responsibilities:· Technical skill and knowledge in a specialized area of engineering, e.g., design, analysis, test, evaluation, etc.· Skill in using company information systems and processes.· Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.· Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product· Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.· Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).Experience:· (1 - 3 years)Skills:· 5 or more years of experience in Embedded C and/or Linux C programming – Must Have· Experience on C 11/14/17, STL, Multithreading in C - Must Have· Experience with CAN J1939 , UDS Protocols – Highly Preferred· Experience working with latest developer tools: Visual Studio/CMake, Conan, Git, GDB· 2 or more years of experience with Agile development process· Experience working with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation· Experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration· Excellent communication skills to co-ordination with Global team members, business partners and other stakeholdersEducation:· Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)· Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)· Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)About US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
