Cutting-edge worldwide media, communications, and advertising corporation has rebranded their internal big data team and is adopting a true SaaS model so that they can sell their marketing intelligence platform to other companies to compete with the big tech companies in the data space. This platform will be built on Java-based microservices using Spring Boot in an AWS environment. This person will either be a senior engineer or team lead/staff engineer who will implement modern architecture and practices. Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of six years of professional experience
- Proficiency with Java 8
- Experience with Spring Boot or Dropwizard
- Experience developing with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- BS in CS or related technical or math degree
- Strong communication a must!
- Experience as project lead
- Strong communication and positive attitude
- MS or PhD in STEM related field
- Experience with Spring Data and Spring Cloud
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, Mesos, or Marathon
- Experience with AWS
