- Develop and execute engagement card strategy and comprehensive marketing plan to optimize Ulta Beauty's credit card program growth in partnership with cross-functional team
- Provide strategic guidance from plan to execution with a holistic perspective to reach business goals
- Manage budgets in conjunction with bank partner, ensure campaigns adhere to forecasts and proactively suggest opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings
- Establish, track, and analyze key metrics, gaining insights to optimize performance
- Develop campaign timelines, communicate status, and hold internal/external stakeholders accountable to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns in-market
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive program growth, brand awareness and improve processes
- Ensure processes, business and technology, work optimally with key partners to meet business needs and build synergy
- Partner with internal marketing teams to design, produce, and execute impactful marketing communications on-time and with accuracy
- Collaborate extensively with our external bank partner to manage the credit engagement marketing calendar, execute campaigns to drive engagement, foster a productive working environment, and ensure adherence to legal and compliance standards
- Partner with the CRM team to refine segmentation and improve campaign performance
- Lead, develop and mentor team
- Champion diversity so guests, associates, partners, and communities feel connected to and reflected at Ulta Beauty
- Be a catalyst for change, setting a clear and comprehensive strategy and held accountable for high caliber strategic output, thought leadership and operational excellence
- Assess the capabilities and needs of the team to inform strategic decisions
- Educate team and key stakeholders in best practices, be a subject matter expert of credit marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent education or related experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing
- 5+ years in retail marketing and/or credit marketing (Private Label/Co-brand)
- 5+ years of experience in credit card industry (Private Label/Co-brand)
- P&L leadership experience and experienced in negotiation and partner management
- Working knowledge of developing and executing marketing strategies to drive customer engagement
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive experience managing marketing projects and campaigns (digital/print)
- In-depth analytical skills and business analysis
- A high level of accountability and strong attention to detail
- Collaborative nature, with an unquestionable ability to lead
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
