Required skills:
- Maintain systems to meet ongoing business needs including applying upgrades, performance tuning, remediate defects, and ensuring overall health of the development, test and production environments.
- Author and maintain system documentation (such as workflow charts and diagrams, and system specifications) to enable effective support activities.
- Test new or enhanced system related changes and document results.
- Ensure proper access control to systems across the landscape.
- Ensure proper monitoring/alerting utilities are designed and built as needed.
- Monitor system performance and investigate issues & errors.
- Understand and execute defined processes and procedures related to system administration.
- Work with infrastructure team to ensure all systems are in compliance with software patches and upgrades.
- Monitor system resources utilization trends, and perform proactive capacity planning
- Respond to system vulnerability alerts and work with respective teams (application, infrastructure, etc.) to remediate vulnerabilities
- Contribute to system compliance audits (Ex: Hi-Trust). Create and maintain proper standard operating procedures as needed.
- Act as an infrastructure liaison to application development teams. Understand requirements, translate them into infrastructure capacity needs (in collaboration with infra), and secure the environments
- Monitor system health, and take action to remediate (or facilitate remediation of) incidents/disruptions when they occur.
- Responds to system alerts.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for system related incidents. Facilitate root-cause analysis for application or infrastructure related incidents.
- Understand and execute defined processes and procedures related to on-call (primary & secondary)
- Ability to understand healthcare and financial business concepts
- Collaborate with application development teams to identify & recommend monitoring & alerting needs
- Setup Telemetry software
- Configure monitors and alerts as requested by business clients and application development teams
- Understand and execute defined processes and procedures related to Telemetry management
- Identify current-state gaps to achieve optimal landscape for on-demand environments
- Recommend optimal landscapes both for primary production path, as well as alternate N+1 landscapes
- Experience with ETL jobs.
- 3 to 5 years using JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Ext JS, or equivalent
- 5 to 8 years object oriented programming experience using .NET/Visual Studio (ASP, ASP.Net, and C# and VB script and VB.net etc.)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Classic ASP.NET 3.0
- Experience with distributed or centralized source code repositories (GIT, TFS, SVN, etc.)
- XML coding
- At least one year experience with SOAP and JSON UI
- 5+ years writing medium to high complexity T-SQL queries, or equivalent
- 5 to 8 years developing and consuming web services
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Jenkins/Bamboo or other automation tools
- Familiar with BitBucket/GIT source control management systems
- Experience with JIRA
