It’s rewarding work, with an inspiring team, where every contribution matters.About the role:As a Resource Industries dedicated Senior Sales Support Consultant, you are responsible for working with multiple internal Caterpillar Teams and Cat Dealers to identify, validate and drive Services Growth Solutions aligned with current Caterpillar Enterprise strategies.As a consultant, it’s imperative to maintain alignment with the Resource Industries vertical and mining dealers. Consultants play a critical role in helping to achieve our Services Growth goals while helping customers achieve the lowest possible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The consultant must demonstrate creativity, foresight, business judgement, outstanding product support, marketing/distribution knowledge as well as sensitivity to customer financial impact.Job responsibilities will Include but are not limited to:

Primary Liaison between Cat Reman Product Group and Resource Industries Aftermarket Solutions Consultants, Aftermarket Solutions Representatives, Repair Options team, and Caterpillar Mining Dealers.

Growing the services business by selling Cat Reman parts as measured by STU (Sales to Users) growth, dealer Reman utilization growth, and NPI growth metrics.

Serving as the primary marketing contact for Industry Sales Verticals to leverage Reman in support of Sales Vertical Big Rocks/Critical Few.

Consulting with the product groups, districts, and dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions designed to maximize product value and price.

Designing correct business plan shortfalls and capitalizing on identified incremental sales opportunities.

Resolving issues related to the products and overall commercial performance in the territory; Oversees PINS trends, demand fluctuations, and basic customer requirements.

Developing new prospects, establishing customers, and finding opportunity to introduce an organization's products and services.

Relationship Management: Extensive Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Business Development: Working Knowledge of business development tools, techniques, and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.

Value Selling: Working Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology, and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Relocation assistance is available for this role.

Travel up to 50% is required for this role.

The primary location for this role is Tucson, Arizona, but can be located in Mossville, Illinois or within a 50-mile radius of a US-based Caterpillar facility.
