The role supports the Western US and Canada territory (WeCan), acting as a market specialist and subject matter expert for strategic Retail and Small Core Aftermarket solution development within Construction Industries. The Senior Sales Support Consultant will pinpoint and prioritize key lost opportunities in Retail and Small Core, driving solution development through the Construction Industries Services Division.What You Will Do (Job Duties)

Identify “Moments that Matter” and gather on Voice of the Customer/ Voice of the Dealer/ Voice of the Business and data insights to define CI retail customer requirements for highest areas of lost retail opportunity in WeCan

Work through key partners to pilot compelling integrated services offerings relevant to Construction Industries Retail and Small Core customer needs in WeCan

Regionalize central Go-To-Market framework consisting of definition of winning, execution plan & preparation, marcomm, training and governance

Help Monitor priority WeCan dealer’s Retail and Small Core SGPs and implementation of the Winning Recipe and support Area Sales Reps in the field as needed to support Retail and Small Core STU growth.

Own Retail Sales Variance strategy and quarterly retail campaign strategy and execution for WeCan.

What You Have (Skills & Experience)

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively based on the audience.

Ability to create/enable behavioral changes in organizations and motivating others inside and outside the Caterpillar to improve performance.

Ability to work independently with urgency, innovate and deliver results

Strong project leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and organization

Top Candidates Will Also Have

Experience working with the dealer marketing and sales operations processes

Experience with Aftermarket parts and service offerings or developing go-to-market for products or services

Prior background working with the retail customer base

Location & Travel

This role requires travel up to 50% in the Western US and Canada

Domestic relocation assistance is available only to the following locations: Peoria IL, Dallas TX, or Cary NC.

Additional work locations maybe be considered including: Denver, CO and Boise, ID
