Codework's client in the Financial Services Industry is seeking an enthusiastic

Service Desk Technician to join their Team on a

long term contract or contract to hire basis. This role is

hybrid with o

n site work in downtown Chicago 2 days per week, shift is either M-F 8 am to 5 pm CT or M-F 10 am to 7 pm CT.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate with end users and troubleshoot issues and requests.
  • Translate technical information to non technical staff and resources.
  • Troubleshoot and image PCs, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Utilize your problem solving skill set and critical thinking to find solutions.
  • Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite, networking technologies and related systems.
  • Utilize knowledge management system when troubleshooting issues.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and internal departments to resolve issues and requests.
  • Complete documentation including knowledge base, tracking and monitoring tickets.
  • Set expectations and keep clear communication with end user when opening, assigning, escalating and resolving tickets.
  • Prioritize tickets and duties meeting internal service level agreements.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in computer science, business or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1+ Years of experience
