- Proven technical SME, with the ability to cross train team members
- Hands-on experience with backend scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)
- Strong experience in Windows, Unix or Linux administration
- Ability to develop high volume transaction API connectors - both real-time and batch
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and standards
- Solid understanding of networking architecture and debugging network issues
- Experience with log data aggregation solutions (e.g. Elk, Kafka, Splunk, Exabeam, HDFS, etc.)
- Hands-on AGILE development experience
- Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.)
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Ability to extend/customize Splunk
- Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines and container platforms
- Implement best-practice security and networking techniques for Internet-facing systems.
- Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues across the organization.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal development team processes.
- Work with Incident response teams on developing and managing the backlog of needed development /automation requests.
- Support fellow team members in overall effort to deliver exceptional service to internal customers.
- Lead time-sensitive security projects.
