What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Proven technical SME, with the ability to cross train team members
  • Hands-on experience with backend scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Strong experience in Windows, Unix or Linux administration
  • Ability to develop high volume transaction API connectors - both real-time and batch
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and standards
  • Solid understanding of networking architecture and debugging network issues
  • Experience with log data aggregation solutions (e.g. Elk, Kafka, Splunk, Exabeam, HDFS, etc.)

We'd Love To See:
  • Hands-on AGILE development experience
  • Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.)
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Ability to extend/customize Splunk
  • Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines and container platforms

Impact You'll Make:

We are looking for a technical leader to play an important role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. You will lead and prioritize efforts to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core cyber security functions.
  • Implement best-practice security and networking techniques for Internet-facing systems.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues across the organization.
  • Identify and implement improvements to internal development team processes.
  • Work with Incident response teams on developing and managing the backlog of needed development /automation requests.
  • Support fellow team members in overall effort to deliver exceptional service to internal customers.
  • Lead time-sensitive security projects.
