SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER - AUTOMATION
What makes this fun?In this very key role, as the Software Test Automation Engineer you are responsible for developing a deep understanding of our products and the complex use cases to test them. You will create automated and manual tests for regression, deployment, and smoke testing as part of our existing test infrastructure. Our talented team of physician editors, technologists, and product visionaries collaborate to provide advanced clinical decision support solutions that measurably improve clinical effectiveness by helping healthcare professionals provide optimal care for their patients.Some of the things you will develop, work on and be responsible for:- You will be working with the Quality Assurance team, developers, Product Owners, and other team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of existing products and features.
- You will be supporting development of manual and automated test cases for new and existing functionality
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify business rules, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure the overall quality of coverage for the automated test solution.
- Develop and maintain automated tests within the Redwood automated test framework.
- Ensure automated tests are written according to best practices using Groovy/Java.
- Advocates for coding approaches and solutions that ensure quality and testability.
- Execute testing-related tasks within an Agile/Scrum environment and balance priorities as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Test Automation including planning, script development, and maintenance
- Experience coding with JavaScript and Java is required.
- Experience with testing APIs and Angular/React applications is required.
- Experience with SQL and the ability to query and update data as needed.
- Experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience using Selenium library, with experience building internal tools and frameworks a strong plus.
- Familiarity with testing across browsers and devices using test suites like BrowserStack is desired.
