Speech Language Pathologist AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at an elementary school in Aurora, Illinois. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in the STARR classrooms- an autism program for students with and without a diagnosis. In this role, you will have a private office space to provide student services and will partner with two additional SLPs within the building. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, a team of district SLP’s and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:

Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the general education and special education settings.

Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.

Provide push-in and pull-out speech and language services to identified students within the STARR program.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.

Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.

Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

IDFPR License in the state of Illinois

Active Professional Educators License (PEL)

School experience preferred
