Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in East, Tennessee. This role will be instrumental in handling full cycle accounting for multiple entities within the manufacturing industry. The Sr. Accountant will also be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with system implementation for newly acquired companies.Responsibilities: Conduct full cycle accounting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and maintain journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded. Conduct monthly end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is updated. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate financial projections. Collaborate with the external CPA for tax and audit preparation, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Perform financial analysis, providing insights to assist business decision-making. Conduct Ad Hoc reporting and variance analysis as required, providing detailed reports. Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy. Assist with system implementation for newly acquired companies, ensuring smooth transition. Support the Controller on special projects, providing necessary assistance.For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interviewRequirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in the financial industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation Demonstrated ability in handling general ledgers and making journal entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Proven experience in month-end close procedures Familiarity with SAP software Ability to perform P & L calculations Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience in budgeting and forecasting as well as financial analysis Capability to perform ad hoc analysis, ad hoc financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting Experience in system implementation Skilled in variance analysis Preparedness for audit preparation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Familiarity with current financial regulations and standards.
