Sr. Financial Analyst - Systems

Our company is currently looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg,Illinois.

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for acting as a liaison between Finance / Actuarial, Business / Service units and IT in implementing, maintaining and updating core financial systems that support the organization.

• Supporting the business in the development of new or changes to financial processes and reports.
• Act as a point of contact for financial systems and processes, working as a conduit between finance, IT and the BusinessUnits and support functions as required.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Financial Accounting and Reporting organizational goals through close work with the team.and across other areas of Finance and Actuarial and the business ensuring outputs are robust and completed in a timelymanner.
• Participate, lead or guide the successful implementation of small, or low/medium complexity local projects, sub-projects orphases of a larger projects.
• Develop a good working knowledge of key business processes and application of accounting principles; act as a subjectmatter expert for any queries relating to financial systems and processes.
• Support in the delivery of robust, timely information relating to all aspects of financial performance in order to enhancebusiness decision making.
• Identify and implement process improvements utilizing analytics and automation technology such as RPA, Alteryx.
• Microsoft 365 Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaAND
• Experience with accounting and financial reporting, general ledger and reporting tools

• Insurance industry experience
• Project management experience
• SAP experience
• CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
