- Develop central governance model for creator and talent partnerships across the enterprise that ensures all partnerships align with Ulta Beauty's values and brand; partner with creative, legal, digital marketing (affiliate), Brand Partner Marketing, UB Media (RMN), Social and Services to develop enterprise use for talent and creators
- Lead the development & oversee the execution of multi-faceted influence strategy designed to improve the full marketing funnel-increasing brand awareness, engagement, consideration and conversion
- Evolve and grow the Ulta Beauty Collective to service the enterprise strategy, guiding the team whom will own the yearly planning and management of the Collective
- Working in partnership with Livestream and Social to identify and consult on talent for on-air shopping programming, inclusive of training and development and contract creation and negotiations
- Collaborate with Affiliate team on content partnerships to ensure governance over creator
- Establish measurement strategies across organic reach, engagement, impressions, traffic and sales that ladder to overall short and long-term business goals.
- Create a reporting structure to evaluate the impact of the holistic influencer and creator programs being run through the Influencer Relations team.
- Proactively share influencer marketing expertise with the broader organization through education and insights. Where relevant, share influencer marketing news and industry insights with team members, illustrating why and how influencer and creator marketing is influencing and impacting brand marketing and consumer engagement.
- Elevate the influencer marketing IQ of the organization through trainings and materials that teams can leverage.
- Manage Influencer Relations team members, overseeing career development, day-to-day supervision of activities, coaching, and evaluation.
- Manage, motivate and grow the influencer team to increase our impressions; coaching the team on how to manage influencer selection, negotiations, delinquency and engagement.
- Lead and manage agency partners that support influencer campaign, discovery and management
- Own the influencer marketing budget and determine how to best allocate funding across content creation, amplification, conversion and expertise to drive campaign KPIs and ladder to larger business outcomes.
- Work with insights to optimize plans and budgets accordingly to expand and manage the current portfolio of influencers, test new platforms and verticals.
- Develop company POV surrounding creator partnerships - outlining partnership criteria and payment structures that ladder to Ulta Beauty's values
- Manage external agency partners for Ulta Beauty Collective and paid media programs
- Foster and develop strong relationships with influencer talent agencies and agents, creating new and unique opportunities for partnerships in innovative capacities
- Collaborate with legal to ensure FTC compliance for all paid influencer and creator partnerships, developing auditing guidelines for regular content reviews; Manage all yearly contract reviews with legal to ensure compliance is most current based on evolution of content spaces
- Partner with Rapid Response team on any creator or influencer-related issues, providing counsel and recommendation to mitigate any risk with third-party partners
- Relevant Experience: 10+ years experience in social, influencer marketing and/or communications in beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle industry; Experience building, managing and mentoring a dynamic team of creatively-minded influence marketers
- Consumer-centric thinker: Strong understanding of consumer codes within social platforms, current events and subculture trends.
