We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Full Stack developer for the Futures/Forex new accounts team.What you are good at- Experience building highly scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, ReactJS, and cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry or something similar.- Collaborate with business partners and other technology teams across Schwab Technology Services.- Researching new solutions and working with team to provide proof of concepts and establish new patterns.- Ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables- Leading new initiatives by interacting with experts from across Schwab in different support organizations and business groups- Ensure readiness for software releases to the production environment, including support of the CI/CD release pipeline- Review the code developed by other team members and make sure it is implemented as per the design and coding standards- Writing testable code and has strong emphasis on unit test coverage- Mentor junior developersWhat you have- BS/BA degree in computer science or related field- Current or prior experience working in TD Ameritrade or Schwab employee or contractor is a firm requirement- 10+ years of experience in Software Development- Strong experience building REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot- Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills- Experience with Unix, Linux or Mac- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jira and Bamboo- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written- Proven track record identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies- Team player with strong collaborative qualities and positive attitude- Experience with Agile Development Practices- Financial/Trading services industry experience
