Job Description:

This role is on Deposits Operations Strategy team supporting on a highly visible project of our client.
The Workstream Project Manager will be reporting to the Sr. Manager of New Features and Initiatives on the Money Movement Value Stream.
This is a business and operations facing role, required to interface with multiple business units.

Principle Responsibilities:

Work with business process owners, product managers, and business technologies to clarify project objectives and success metrics
Collaborate with key project stakeholders to align on deliverables that deliver the maximum value to the business as early as possible
Partner with field operations, business risk, and process owners to ensure all change management tasks are complete and clearly communicated to impacted teams
Participate in control design discussions with compliance and business process owners to confirm project risks are adequately addressed by detective and preventative controls
Work with testing team and process owners to assure appropriate user acceptance and regression testing
Coordinate production pilots to confirm functionality works as expected prior to customer launch
Accurate and timely report project status to project forums
Identify blockers and risks to project timelines in a timely fashion
Ability to independently manage a project to successful implementation

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Information Technology, or related field of study.
Candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in Project Management; more is preferred.
Previous experience working in Retail Banking, with general understanding of banking regulations.
Understanding of Debit Card processing and settlements, customer authentication and third-party fraud prevention.
Familiarity in Money Movement domain; digital payments and e-wallets (Apply Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) is a plus.
Experience in Operations is a plus, with familiarity in operational excellence and business risk.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodology.
Experience using Jira project tracking software is a plus.
Experience working with IBM BlueWorks Live is a plus.
