Stainless Steel Mig Welders (2) Positions - 1st Shift

Metal Fabricator with a completely equipped fabrication facility that produces quality products (Structural and Ornamental Elements, Roof Structures, Railings, Stairs and Entrances) Seeking Mig Welders with 2+ years experiences working with stainless steel metal in machine shop.

SUMMARY: Stainless Steel Welders fabricate, repair, and maintain stainless steel components and structures.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

Weld with Mig, Tig and Resistance

Weld 18” gauge up to 11 plates: Stainless steel

Read and interpret blueprints

Produce defect-free welds, repair & maintain steel components and structures.

Problem solving

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have the ability to use various welding processes, but most common fabricate with Mig, Tig & Resistance welding

Unique set of skills, including technical knowledge, welding expertise & safety awareness

Hand-eye coordination and sharp eyesight

Ability to work on ladders (maintain balance)

2+ year experiences welding in machine shop environment

Basic shop math, calipers, tape ruler, squares and protractor

Use basic hand tools

Read blueprint and interpret blueprints

Physically fit: Stand all day, bend, scoop, reach and lift up to 50 to 80 Lbs.

Follow GMP and comply with all company policies and procedures

Good communication and organizational skills

Welding Equipment: Helmet, gloves, sleeves and apron

Professional attitude and behavior inside the plant

1ST SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and available for OT and Saturday pending on work orders.

LONG TERM WITH FULL-TIME PLACEMENT AFTER 720 WORKED HOURS

PAY RATE: 18.00 - 19.00 PENDING ON SKILL SETS AND WORK HISTORY
