Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a General Production Worker who will be responsible for providing all general assistance around the machine shop. The role involves working primarily on the planer side, alongside planer operators, managing raw materials, and performing basic quality checks on finished products.Responsibilities
Work side by side with planer operators.
Manage raw product of incoming materials and ensure proper weights and amounts.
Perform basic quality checks on finished products.
Operate the machine that straightens machined bars.
Make wooden crates for shipping.
Use a sander to remove rough spots.
Essential Skills
2 years of machine operating or heavy industrial experience.
Experience in manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a steel machine shop is a plus.
No CNC experience required.
