Hiring for Slitter Assistant pay up to $22/hour in Sauk Village, IL.Job Description:

Basic Slitter or cut to length or Fabrication experience is required.

Must have Steel Manufacturing experience.

Inform Operator of any visible steel defects

Band/Un-band steel coils using hand tools.

Feed coils into machine and pack steel.

Use calipers and tape measures to perform a verification of width and thickness.

Pay & Shift:

Pay up to $22/hour.

1st shift/Morning shift and 2nd shift/Afternoon Shift.

Monday - Friday.

Hard Skills

Experience with a slitter machine for 2 years

Ability to setup slitter heads

Read tape measure/caliper/micrometer.
