We are proud to be #TeamAmex and #TeamAccertify.Accertify is growing, and we are looking to add a Strategic Fraud Analyst to our global fraud-fighting team.How will you make an impact in this role?The Strategic Fraud Analyst will report to the Lead Technical Architect for a specific client company-owned team in the Application Technology Support (ATS) group. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with client-specific teams in the US, Canada, and Japan markets to implement various projects, products, models, rules, and other configuration changes under the guidance of the client team. This role will act as an individual contributor and work in a high-visibility, cross-functional capacity alongside members of different parts of the Accertify organization, including Support, Implementation, Development, Decision Sciences, and Operations.Key Responsibilities:
Consult with client as subject matter expert to design and deploy comprehensive fraud prevention strategies and policies; identify fraud control improvements
Develop and deploy fraud prevention and chargeback management reporting/alerting using Splunk, SQL, rules, and scripting languages.
Become a Splunk subject matter expert:
Consult with internal and external clients on design and configuration for customized Splunk reporting and alerting
Expect 5% travel for internal/external training, team meetings, and client onsite meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to technology, business, or finance
Intermediate knowledge of SQL
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including an expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal departments and stakeholders to deliver highly detailed and technical information
Ability to maintain resiliency and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, heavily customized environment with high-profile, strategic enterprise clients
Must be collaborative, motivated, creative, and results-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of a scripting language (preferably Python)
Experience with using Splunk for troubleshooting and monitoring
High-level knowledge of payments processing and disputes
Knowledge of and experience with online payment processors, billing service providers, and tools/platforms/resources used to combat online fraud
