As a Systems and Executive Support Engineer, you will act as a “white glove” type of resource with excellent interpersonal communication, and a history of great communication with C-level executives. Professional etiquette, extremely polished, and energetic are must have personal traits. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot devices, tools, and technologies in short windows of time, and be able to alleviate executives’ concerns/stress regarding conferencing tools, password resets, and unlocking of locked accounts.

This is a contract to hire opportunity located in Deerfield, Illinois.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years’ experience or 7-10 years of equivalent experience in supporting Executives, Enterprise systems and Video collaboration solutions
  • Experience with Enterprise audio video conferencing
  • Experience working with external technical vendors to troubleshoot or deploy hardware and software
  • Installed and configured enterprise/ home office networking and Wi-Fi solutions
  • Experience dealing with Physical Security home configurations
  • Well organized, ambitious, and proactive
  • Experience with MDM solutions and mobile security platforms like In-tune, Airwatch
  • Cloud experience with Azure, including but not limited to Azure server builds and SaaS services
  • Working Knowledge of BOX, Okta and various SaaS providers
  • Networking skills setup, connect and troubleshooting
  • Cisco Call Manager and Unity end user support
  • Familiarity with setting up, image and configure various systems…printer, computer, server setup and troubleshooting
  • An innate curiosity and drive to fill knowledge gaps and connect the right people
  • An understanding of network, storage and workstation architectures will be crucial to understanding production support issues and identifying solutionsWorking knowledge and ability to speak intelligently about operating systems (windows 10, Apple,), networking (IP address spaces, DNS, ports), network storage (SAN, NAS), on prem Servers, cloud, workstation hardware (CPU’s, memory, etc)
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Active Directory MACD
  • Experience with support ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Service Now etc…
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and fluid environment
  • Willing to travel to provide support as needed
  • AV: Video Conferencing knowledge Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Google Meet etc
  • IT: Experience supporting executive level employees; Ability to architect simple technical layouts and upgrade systems; Reliable technical troubleshooting and customized implementation; Translate technical solutions with different levels of tech expertise; Stakeholder management and good data/documentation management
  • Security: Foundational experience with Network Security
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
