Our client, an nation's leading insures, is seeking an Systems Engineer/SecuPI Admin

Location: Remote

Position Type: IT Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture & Data Privacy partners for supporting various initiatives in SecuPI application
  • Configuring, installing, testing, and maintaining SecuPI application software (deploying SecuPI Platform gateway, SecuPI Application gateways for data sources like Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, etc., SecuPI Agents for Data access points like Tableau, SQL Server clients, Oracle clients, etc. and any other types for data sources & data access points)
  • Day to day administration & maintenance activities for SecuPI application- user onboarding and access control (roles), manage SecuPI applications policies, maintain activity logs and monitor usages
  • Help design and build the automation for environment/services/agents working with DevOps & Desktop services teams
  • Help design and build the approach for proper back-up/restore operations
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement setup of SecuPI agents and also for resolving technical issues and outages
  • Provide support & troubleshoot technical issues and ensuring system availability
  • Help with the development and maintenance of SecuPI security roles & policies
  • Help with Code Migrations of content from SecuPI non-prod to prod environments
  • Create Runbooks and How-to guides for different installation, configuration & support items based on SecuPI setup
  • Analyze server usage, memory, and workload configuration within SecuPI services
  • Be the liaison and work effectively with SecuPI vendor

Job Qualifications:

  • Should have minimum 5+ years of experience in a combination of Data Integration, Data Privacy or Data Governance project implementations
  • Should have 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator where you have installed and performed software upgrades across different environments
  • Should have minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience on SecuPI or other Data Privacy/Protection tools
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows based cloud environments preferably in AWS
  • Good understanding of system networking, including firewalls, load balancers, storage, etc.
  • Experience in Snowflake and Informatica Data Governance tools (EDC & AXON) is a plus
  • Strong experience in providing operational support and problem resolution for large complex application environments
  • Demonstrated problem solving and quantitative skills
  • Good Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work with multiple vendors
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
